Visited the café this week. It is wonderfully located next to the Sheffield Cathedral. The place is clean and well designed. They have a wide selection of board games to choose from (some you can even buy there and take home with you). The staff are very accommodating and helpful in suggesting which board games to play and will happily show you how to play the game you picked. Their menu is quite expansive with a wide variety of drinks, snacks and foods. The cappuccino I had with plant milk was both delicious and beautifully presented. I also had a hot dog, which was very customizable, tasted excellent and was filling too. TL;DR: Great venue, helpful staff, large selection of board games, excellent coffee and great food!

My favourite activity to do with a friend in Sheffield! They have delicious coffee and board games you can get lost in for hours. Also a great place to get some work done on your laptop. Can really recommend their hot dogs! Lots of good options and delicious bread.

Really well priced and with delicious drinks! Our host was able to recommend the perfect game for me and my friend. It's such a lovely location too, right next to the Cathedral. Well worth a visit!

This place is great! The vibe was very relaxed with a good mix of families, couples and small groups. The food although we didn't have any looked and smelled nice and the drink selection was great - coffees, beers, wine and soft drinks plus smoothies and milkshakes. The boardgame selection was great and the owner really knew his stuff about the types of games to play and rules. This was a great way to spend a few hours and we will be back to have a to play some more games.

Fantastic place, my son (8) and I have been a couple of times now. The cafe itself is lovely with plenty of space and a good menu, choice of games is great and the service is brilliant. The team there are very welcoming, and really helpful with advising, setting up and explaining the rules for the game you choose. No doubt we'll visit again soon!

Our first visit and not our last, a quiet Monday evening was spent playing new games, to introduce a non board game player... the host was exceptional, very knowledgeable to match our collective experience to the game, and talked us through game play. The food was great, fresh, and hot. Don't give this a pass, pop in and chill.

This was our second visit. We spent a couple of hours - there’s was a good choice of two player games and the staff were very attentive and helpful. They asked our interests and helped us pick out some games, and offered to help with understanding the rules. Good choice of drinks and cakes, and the smoothies were great! We hope to be back soon.

I went a few days ago in the evening just to explore the board games. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She suggested good games and briefly explained them. The atmosphere was very friendly, quiet and relaxed. We will definitely be back.
